Sickle Cell Suffolk welcomes the news on the approval of the gene therapy Casegevy, available on the NHS, for those living with sickle cell disorder

This is truly ground breaking. It’s been a hard and long journey, with rejections by NICE, but the time is finally here.

There are so few treatments for sickle cell, so this is big news for us.
